North-West College San Diego Honors Nursing Graduates at Spring Commencement Ceremony

Event Underscores the College’s Ongoing Commitment to Training Quality Health Care Professionals

SAN DIEGO, Calif.—Following many months of rigorous studies, RN program graduates crossed the stage at North-West College San Diego’s Commencement Ceremony this past Friday. The first in-person commencement since the pandemic began, the event brought together family members, friends, professors, and Team Members to celebrate this milestone moment for these individuals.

“It is truly an honor to celebrate these nursing students,” NWC’s Chief Operating Officer Beylor Meza shared. “They chose to further their education—making significant sacrifices in this challenging season to reach their goals—and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished!”

NWC graduates earned their Associate of Arts in Nursing degrees, completing a two-year degree program that blends classroom curriculum with relevant clinical learning opportunities. Students benefitted from a committed faculty and a supportive environment—along with the chance to put their skills into practice at excellent clinical facilities in the San Diego area.

“The demand for well-trained nurses continues to climb,” Meza explained. “These graduates are health care heroes—answering the call to care for their patients and communities when we need them most—and we have no doubt they will have an amazing impact in their field.”
