Success Education Colleges Celebrates 57 Years Of Changing Lives

Milestone Marks More Than Five and a Half Decades Taking Care of Our Students

WEST COVINA, Calif.— Success Education Colleges (SEC) proudly commemorates 57 years of excellence in education, empowering individuals to achieve their dreams and build successful careers. Since its founding on October 18, 1966, as North-West College, SEC has come a long way, experiencing quality growth from its humble beginnings in a construction trailer to a family of colleges with 13 campus locations across California and Nevada.

Founded by the visionary Marsha Fuerst, who enrolled the first students even before the College was constructed, SEC has remained committed to providing quality education and career training. Today, under the leadership of Marsha’s son Mitchell Fuerst, SEC offers a diverse and rewarding range of diploma and degree programs to meet the evolving needs of its students.

“Our journey began with a single Core Purpose: to Educate Students for Success and give them the tools they need to succeed,” explained SEC President Mitchell Fuerst. “Since the College began, we’ve been able to help tens of thousands of graduates turn their aspirations into reality, and we’re exceedingly proud to continue this tradition of excellence.”

From diploma programs in Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Medical Insurance Billing and Coding, Pharmacy Technician and Vocational Nursing, to degree programs such as Associate of Science in Health Care Administration, Associate of Occupational Science Degree in Surgical Technology, Associate Degree in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing, SEC provides students with the knowledge and practical skills required to excel in their chosen fields.

Over these many decades the Success Education Colleges family of campuses includes North-West College, Glendale Career College, Nevada Career Institute and the Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing, where the College offers degree programs for aspiring nurses to train to become Registered Nurses or advance their careers with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

As always, the Team Members of SEC remains totally committed to the lasting success and well-being of their students. The impact of SEC’s education reaches far beyond the classroom, positively affecting individuals, families, and communities across California and Nevada.
